Ottawa – The Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board, delivered a keynote address today to this year's Government Technology Exhibition and Conference to outline the modernization and streamlining of government IT supporting back office operations.
Canada is pursuing enterprise opportunities to standardize and transform its back office IT environment. It is consolidating where possible, through enterprise-wide solutions designed to reduce duplication, drive down costs, and reallocate IT spending to meet mission-critical business needs.
The Government Technology Exhibition and Conference is a key annual event for government professionals in the Information Technology sector, and plays an important role in the exchange of ideas and best practices that lead to high government performance.
