GATINEAU, Quebec, October 11, 2013 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of a lane closure on the Ontario portion of the Timiskaming Dam.
The eastbound lane will be closed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from Tuesday, October 15 to Sunday, October 20, 2013.
During this time, traffic will use a single lane alternating between both directions and directed by traffic control personnel.
Motorists and pedestrians should expect brief delays.
This lane closure is necessary to perform a structural inspection of the dam.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
