Ottawa – The Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, and His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa, will attend a Candlelight Tribute in honour of Canada’s Veterans as part of Veterans’ Week 2013.
Veterans’ Week is a time for Canadians to come together to honour those who have sacrificed so much to make our world a safer place. This Veterans’ Week, show you remember by attending a Remembrance Day ceremony, visiting a local cenotaph or monument, sharing your thoughts of remembrance online, or wearing a poppy with pride.
