Niagara Falls – The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., Minister of National Defence and Member of Parliament for Niagara Falls, will speak at the 31st Annual Winter Festival of Lights opening festivities to honour Canada’s Veterans of the Korean War and highlight their contributions and sacrifices.
Veterans’ Week is a time for Canadians to come together to honour those who have sacrificed so much to make our world a safer place. This Veterans’ Week, show you remember by attending a Remembrance Day ceremony, visiting a local cenotaph or monument, sharing the story of a loved one who served, and wearing a poppy with pride.
