Ottawa, November 12, 2013 – Today, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is unveiling a billboard by the intersection of Highway 814 and Airport Road near Nisku in Alberta, calling on to the public to help solve the murder of Amber Tuccaro. Amber’s mother, Vivian Tuccaro will lead a healing ceremony in honor of her daughter during the unveiling.
The RCMP is asking the public to go to its national website and listen to the audio recording of a man’s voice. RCMP investigators believe that this man was with Amber shortly before she disappeared.

Amber Tuccaro was reported missing on August 18th, 2010 after she failed to return to a hotel in Nisku, 27 kilometers south of Edmonton, Alberta where she had been staying with her infant son and a female friend. Amber Tuccaro was a resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta at the time of her disappearance. Amber Tuccaro's remains were discovered on September 1, 2012.
The issue of missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls is one of great concern for the RCMP. Please help us solve Amber’s murder!
