SSHRC is launching its search to fill two new executive positions: associate vice-president, Future Challenges; and executive director, Research Grants and Partnerships. As a member of the senior management team, reporting directly to SSHRC’s president, the associate vice-president, Future Challenges, will lead the development and implementation of strategies that enhance the SSHRC’s ability, in collaboration with the research community and other partners, to help Canada meet challenges and seize opportunities in the coming years. The position’s first implementation priority will be to focus on realizing the potential of SSHRC’s Imagining Canada’s Future initiative.

SSHRC is recruiting an executive director, Research Grants and Partnerships. This position will report to the vice-president, Research and Research Capacity. The portfolio’s development will build upon the success of SSHRC’s program architecture renewal, and will advance SSHRC’s harmonized approach to program delivery across funding opportunities.
