Ottawa, November 1, 2013 - The Allergy Alert issued on October 26, 2013 has been updated to include additional products and codes. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.
Clic International Inc. is recalling various flavoured marshmallows from the marketplace because they may contain milk. People with an allergy to milk should not consume the recalled products described below.
If you have an allergy to milk, do not consume the recalled product as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
This recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
