GATINEAU, Quebec, December 6, 2013 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of periodic lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing, from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13, 2013, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and on Saturday, December 14, 2013, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
These reductions will affect the Gatineau- and Ottawa-bound lanes. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
Pedestrians will not be affected by the reductions.
These reductions are necessary to perform a general inspection of the bridge.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
PWGSC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the reduced traffic zone and thanks them for their patience.
