GATINEAU, Quebec, January 17, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed during two consecutive weekends, from Friday, January 17 to Monday, January 20, 2014, and from Friday, January 24 to Monday, January 27, 2014. The closures will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday.
There will be no boardwalk closures during these periods, so pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected.
These bridge closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
