Parks Canada offers nearly 20 km of new ski trail, along with a warming hut.

On behalf of the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Canada’s Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable Rob Merrifield, Member of Parliament for Yellowhead, today announced the opening of a new cross country skiing area called Decoigne in Jasper National Park – the first new cross country skiing area developed in the mountain national parks in several decades.
Located in the snowy west end of Jasper National Park, the new trail system features 20 kilometers of groomed trails suitable for all levels of classic cross-country skiers, skate skiers and snowshoers.
