January 20, 2014 – Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick
John Williamson, Member of Parliament for New Brunswick Southwest, today announced that the Government of Canada is undertaking engineering work at Blacks Harbour. This is part of an additional $400,000 investment in projects at small craft harbours in New Brunswick in 2013–2014.
The work at Blacks Harbour consists of completing engineering designs for a future project at the harbour.
The funding for Blacks Harbour is in addition to the $8.7 million announced for projects at small craft harbours in New Brunswick in 2013–14, which includes 21 major harbour projects.
