GATINEAU, Quebec, January 31, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge on February 1 and 2, 2014.
The Ottawa-bound lane adjacent to the sidewalk and the Gatineau-bound lane adjacent to the sidewalk will be closed alternately between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. both days.
The lane reductions are necessary to conduct general repairs on the bridge.
Pedestrians will not be affected by these lane reductions.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
PWGSC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
