February 28, 2014 – Edmonton – On behalf of Minister of State (Sport) Bal Gosal, Laurie Hawn, Member of Parliament (Edmonton Centre), today announced the Government of Canada will provide Triathlon Canada with $1.5 million through Sport Canada’s Hosting Program. Funds will support the organization’s hosting of the 2014 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Triathlon Grand Final, which will be held in Edmonton from August 26 to September 2, 2014.
