GATINEAU, Quebec, February 20, 2014 — Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed during six consecutive weekends, from Friday, February 21 to Monday, March 31, 2014. The closures will be in effect from Friday, 8:00 p.m. until Monday, 5:00 a.m.
There will be no boardwalk closures during these periods, so pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected.
These bridge closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
