GATINEAU, Quebec, February 28, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from Monday, March 3, 2014, to Friday, May 30, 2014. These lane reductions will affect the Gatineau- and Ottawa-bound lanes; however, one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
Pedestrians will also be affected by the lane reductions. The west sidewalk will be closed, so they will be re-routed to the east sidewalk.
These reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance of the bridge.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
