Investments will increase company’s expertise for greater business growth

Alantra Leasing Inc. is undertaking an initiative aimed at improving the company’s expertise and expanding its market reach, thanks to investments by the Government of Canada.
The Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick, Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) and Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal, today announced that the Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Business Development Program, is providing repayable contributions of $295,000 for two projects.
The first project allows the company to hire an engineer for quality assurance purposes to support technical drawings and designs, while the second investment will support the hiring of a marketing manager to further develop markets outside Atlantic Canada.

• Incorporated in 1981, Alantra Leasing Inc. is a family owned business that manufactures mobile office trailers and modular buildings used in a variety of industries such as construction, transportation, forestry, mining and the energy sector.
• In 1998, Alantra had a fleet of approximately 50 trailers serving mostly construction contractors in N.B. and N.S. Since 2002, Alantra has built up its fleet to more than 400 trailers, expanded its delivery fleet and broadened its stock with various custom trailers and buildings. They now serve all of Eastern Canada including Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec.
• Alantra Leasing Inc. employs 40 full-time people at its Sussex facility.
