New equipment will help Sussex company expand and increase productivity
March 28, 2014 – Sussex, NB – Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)
Rainbow Security Technologies Ltd. (RSTL) will purchase new equipment and acquire new expertise, thanks to investments by the Government of Canada.
The Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick, Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) and Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal, announced government funding toward these projects today.
The Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Business Development Program, is providing a repayable investment of $130,150 toward the purchase of new equipment, including a digital security press, computers and security software. The company is investing $70,150. In addition, the federal government, through ACOA, is supporting the company with a $40,173 investment, which will help RTSL to hire expertise to conduct an IT due diligence review and assessment. The company is providing $13,391 toward this initiative.
