March 15, 2014 – Yellowknife, Northwest Territories – Department of Canadian Heritage
Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today conducted consultations in Yellowknife to find out how Canadians would like to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation. All Canadians are invited to have their say by completing an online questionnaire at Canada.ca/150.
“The suggestions we receive today will help us enormously in planning the celebrations surrounding the 150th anniversary of Canada. I encourage the people of Yellowknife and all Canadians who are proud to live in this great country to let our Government know how they want to celebrate their history, values and traditions.”
