March 11, 2014 - We hereby recognise and celebrate the successful conclusion of negotiations of the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement. We are committed to finalizing the legal review and required domestic procedures expeditiously with the mutual intention that the Agreement will enter into force as soon as possible.
The Korea-Canada Free Trade Agreement is a signal achievement which will unlock the full potential of our bilateral economic relations and provide greater opportunities for economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest. We commit to working together to translate those opportunities into shared prosperity and build a new era of mutually beneficial bilateral economic relations between Canada and the Republic of Korea.
