KINGSTON, Ontario, March 3, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians that work is scheduled on the LaSalle Causeway from March 8 to 10, 2014. The work will include overnight and early morning closures and intermittent delays into the late morning as per the following schedule:
Saturday, March 8, 2014:
- Full closure from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Intermittent delays of up to five minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 9, 2014:
- Full closure from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Intermittent delays of up to five minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Monday, March 10, 2014:
- Full closure from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Emergency vehicles will not be affected by this work. These closures are necessary to complete inspections of lift mechanisms, span locks and buffers.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather or logistical requirements. Updated notices will be issued as required.
