OTTAWA — The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will tour the pipe yard for TransCanada’s Houston Lateral Project tomorrow. The Houston Lateral Project, which will transport oil to Houston refineries, will become an integrated component of the Keystone Pipeline system. The Minister will be joined by the Honourable Diana McQueen, Alberta’s Minister of Energy and Russ Girling, President and CEO of TransCanada Corporation.
A media availability and photo opportunity with the Minister will follow the tour. A mandatory safety briefing will be required to enter the facility. Closed-toe shoes are required. Photo identification will be required.
