Prime Minister Stephen Harper held a bilateral meeting today with Prime Minister John Key of New Zealand on the margins of the Nuclear Security Summit.
The leaders confirmed their commitment to further strengthen the close and productive bilateral relations and to increasing bilateral trade and investment in the context of Canada’s Global Markets Action Plan and ongoing Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.
Prime Minister Harper and Prime Minister Key also discussed how best to support Ukraine and the need for strong, coordinated and principled action in response to Russian aggression.
The leaders last met in October 2013 at the APEC Leaders’ Meeting in Bali, Indonesia.
