9:00 a.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will welcome home Canada's last troops returning from Afghanistan and deliver brief remarks. He will be joined by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, Rob Nicholson, Minister of National Defence, and General Thomas Lawson, Chief of the Defence Staff.
