The Government of Canada has provided $226,000 for the 2014 Indspire Awards, which are taking place tonight at the Centennial Concert Hall. Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover made the announcement today.
The awards show showcases the successes of 14 Aboriginal people, including 3 Aboriginal youth, from various sectors such as health, law, political science, culture and arts.

With the support of the Government of Canada, we are honouring and elevating these role models for Indigenous youth across the country."
