Anthony Alexander Clarke arrested

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the arrest of Anthony Alexander Clarke, who was featured on the Wanted by the CBSA list.
Clarke is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality for being convicted of possession of a credit card obtained by crime, use of credit card obtained by crime, escaping lawful custody, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. He has also been convicted of pointing a firearm, theft, assault, and assault with intent to resist arrest. He was arrested after an investigation by the Toronto Immigration Task Force (ITF) in Toronto on March 29, 2014.

- The Toronto ITF is a joint forces operation comprising personnel from the CBSA and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who work together to apprehend high-risk migrant fugitives.
- To date, as a result of the “Wanted by the CBSA” program, Canadians have assisted in locating 56 individuals in Canada, of which 43 have been removed. Additionally, 14 other individuals were located abroad.
- Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
