April 15, 2014 – Chilliwack, British Columbia – Department of Canadian Heritage
Multi-year funding of $20,000 will support the Chilliwack Cultural Centre’s 2014 and 2015 performing arts series. The Centre will receive $10,000 in 2014–2015 and $10,000 in 2015–2016 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.
This funding was announced today by Mark Strahl, Member of Parliament (Chilliwack–Fraser Canyon), on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
Support will enable the Centre—the primary arts presenter in Chilliwack—to present a range of disciplines including theatre, dance, music, and comedy.
