Member of Parliament Dick Harris announces funding for Cercle des Canadiens Français de Prince George
April 28, 2014 – Prince George, British Columbia – Department of Canadian Heritage -The Government of Canada has provided $28,000 in funding to the Cercle des Canadiens Français de Prince George through the Development of Official-Language Communities Program.
Dick Harris, Member of Parliament (Cariboo–Prince George), announced this today on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
The funds will allow the Cercle des Canadiens Français de Prince George to host the 30th FRANCOFUN Winter Festival, from January 25 to February 28, 2015. Festival activities include live musical performances, a sugar shack and an art exhibition.
