Vimy, France – The public and media are invited to participate in the official Government of Canada ceremony marking the 97th anniversary of the Battle of Arras and Capture of Vimy Ridge at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial.
The Honourable Julian Fantino, Canadian Minister of Veterans Affairs, will join French and Canadian officials, military representatives from a number of countries and Canadian Armed Forces personnel based in Europe to pay tribute to all Canadian soldiers who fought so valiantly to capture Vimy Ridge.
