Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:
Malcolm Brown, currently Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency, becomes Deputy Minister for International Development, effective May 20, 2014.
Nada Semaan, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Canadian Heritage, becomes Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency, effective May 20, 2014.
David McGovern, currently Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy and Research Branch, Employment and Social Development Canada, becomes Senior Advisor to the Privy Council Office, responsible for the Border Action Plan Implementation and Regulatory Cooperation Council, effective May 7, 2014.
The Prime Minister took the opportunity to recognize David Moloney on the occasion of his retirement from the Public Service, and to thank him for his dedication and commitment in serving Canadians over his 30-year career.
