OTTAWA, April 13, 2014 ‒ Canadians are invited to pay their respect to the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, Member of Parliament for Whitby–Oshawa and former Finance Minister.
The visitation will take place at the Abilities Centre, 55 Gordon Street, Whitby, on Tuesday, April 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at St. James' Cathedral, 65 Church Street (at King), Toronto.
Mr. Flaherty's family appreciates all the expressions of support and condolences and asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Abilities Centre.
