Yarmouth residents and visitors will be delighted with yet another edition of the Western Nova Scotia Exhibition, which celebrates its 155th anniversary this year.
The Government of Canada has provided $8,800 in funding through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to the Yarmouth County Agricultural Society.
Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This funding will allow the Society, an organization that promotes arts and heritage in the community, to present the 155th edition of the Western Nova Scotia Exhibition from July 29 to August 2, 2014.
