Quick facts
- One of the horrors of war is the way wars become symbols, blocking our remembrance of the trials endured by individuals and families. The Seven Years’ War (1756–1763) impacted all French Canadians, civilians included. To a significant extent, it was their war. How did our ancestors experience events? This presentation seeks to put the fate of individual French Canadians back into the context of their age.
