Géoparc de Percé is a solidarity cooperative whose mission is to bring together Percé’s various tourism partners in the goal of building a major tourist attraction accessible to the general public and of developing new activities with the potential to generate socioeconomic spinoffs for the greater Percé area as a whole.
The funding from the Agency will be used to create and launch a new regional recreational tourism park in Percé. The aim is to increase the tourism offering by developing a new attraction and activities centred on ecotourism. The project will mainly involve the set-up of new recreational tourism facilities on and around Percé’s Mont Sainte-Anne.
This project should help attract tourists from outside Quebec and strengthen the drawing power of this world-renowned destination.

Bioparc de la Gaspésie is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 to showcase the Gaspésie region’s fauna and flora.
The aim of the project is to expand and increase the productivity of the Bioparc by modernizing its facilities and improving the quality of its tourism offering and competitiveness. The present initiative centres on the expansion, the strengthening of the wildlife attraction and the reinforcement of infrastructure.
In addition to maintaining the jobs of the site’s 30 seasonal employees, the goal of the project is to boost attendance to 10,000 visitors per year by the 2016 tourist season.

La Crevette du Nord Atlantique Inc. is a L'Anse-au-Griffon enterprise specialized in the processing of cold-water shrimp. The company’s product is sold under the name Caravelle.
The contribution will enable the firm to modernize its refrigeration facilities in order to increase production of vacuum sealed shrimp in brine, install a new ultra-filtration water treatment system to supply the plant, upgrade its packaging equipment to bolster productivity, lower costs and transform shrimp residues into food-grade shrimp powder.
With this project, the company hopes to raise its processing yield from 14 tonnes of shrimp per year to 20 tonnes per year.

Village en chanson de Petite-Vallée is a non-profit organization that has been active for many years in the cultural arts and music sector. Every year, it organizes a 10-day festival showcasing francophone singers and offering a variety of workshops.
The funding will enable the organization to promote the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée on markets outside Quebec, mainly in New Brunswick, Ontario and France.
The Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée is one of the Gaspésie events that enjoys the widest national and international media coverage, generating major economic spinoffs for the region. The festival is one of the main draws on the regional cultural tourism scene.
