Devinder Shory, Member of Parliament for Calgary Northeast, on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, was pleased to announce today that the Government of Canada has awarded a contract to Calgary company NovAtel Inc. for its innovation, the GAJT-700ML, through the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP).
The GAJT-700ML is an advanced, single-unit GPS anti-jam antenna system that protects GPS receivers from unintentional interference and jamming. It is the first of its kind, meant specifically for military land vehicles. This innovation will provide GPS users with precise navigation.
Through the BCIP, the Harper government will continue to support Canadian companies by getting their innovative products and services from the lab into the marketplace.
