As Prior of the Priory of Canada, the Governor General will then deliver an address at 7:20 p.m. He will highlight the important contributions, past and present, made by supporters of the Order of St. John and St. John Ambulance in Canada and around the world.
Established in 1888, by Queen Victoria, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem is a working order of men and women whose charitable contributions are expressed principally through its two foundations: St. John Ambulance and the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group.
