The Government of Canada is providing $40,000 in funding to the Fédération provinciale des Fransaskoises (FPF) for its project “Formation, information et mise en valeur des femmes francophones.” This project aims to provide activities and services in French for over 300 French-speaking women in Saskatchewan and to recognize their contributions to the community.
This was announced today by Maurice Vellacott, Member of Parliament (Saskatoon-Wanuskewin), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages. The Government of Canada is providing this financial support under the Community Life component of the Development of Official-Language Communities Program.
