Ten-day, five-city trade mission to boost Canada’s exports in the Asia-Pacific region to create jobs and opportunities for hard-working Canadians

The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, today kicked off his visit to China in Qingdao, where he will advance Canada’s economic interests during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministers Responsible for Trade meeting on May 17 and 18.
Minister Fast will then lead a trade mission to Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The mission will focus on sustainable technologies, a priority sector under Canada’s Global Markets Action Plan, and support representatives from Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises looking to export to China.
