May 22, 2014 – Québec City – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Suzanne Fortin-Duplessis, Senator, today announced $290,000 in funding for the Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec. Of this amount, $145,000 is for the 15th edition of the Carrefour, which is taking place from May 22 to June 12, 2014; an identical sum has been allocated for the 2015 edition. Senator Fortin-Duplessis made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This funding, granted under the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will allow Québec City’s residents and visitors to discover the best of national and international theatre.
