GATINEAU, Quebec, June 23, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from Wednesday, June 25 to Friday, June 27, 2014. These reductions will affect the Gatineau-bound lanes between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Traffic will be permitted in both directions. One northbound lane will remain open at all times.
The west and east sidewalks may be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be re-routed to the opposite sidewalk, depending on the required sidewalk closure.
These lane reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
