The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), General Tom Lawson, met with members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) during a visit to Charlottetown today.
The CDS conducted a Town Hall at HMCS Queen Charlotte, the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve Division in Charlottetown.
Also in attendance for the Town Hall were representatives from the Prince Edward Island Regiment, 721 Communication Squadron, 5 Canadian Division Support Group Detachment, Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre Charlottetown, the Military Family Resource Centre and Veterans Affairs Canada.

This visit also gave me the opportunity to recognize a number of these members for the exceptional work they are doing on behalf of their country.”
