Minister of State (Finance) Kevin Sorenson, Minister of State (Seniors) Alice Wong and Canada’s Financial Literacy Leader Jane Rooney, will kick off public and stakeholder consultations to strengthen the financial literacy in Canada.
The first stakeholder consultation will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. There will be a media availability from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Entraide budgétaire (Maison Fraternité), 300 Olmstead Street, in Ottawa, Ontario.
Members of the media who wish to attend the media availability are required to confirm their attendance by email at media@fcac-acfc.gc.ca, before noon, Monday, June 16, 2014.
