Member of Parliament Mark Adler announces support for the Upfront Theatre Foundation

The Government of Canada has provided the Upfront Theatre Foundation with $3,400 through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program to support local artists participating in the 2014 edition of Rastafest. This annual event, which takes place in August, is a multidisciplinary festival showcasing different aspects of the Rastafari culture.
The announcement was made today by Mark Adler, Member of Parliament (York Centre), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
