The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, and the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced funding for the 12th Festival international des rythmes du monde, which is taking place from July 24 to August 3, 2014.
This $21,600 in funding, granted by the Department of Canadian Heritage under the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program, will be used to offer the public a range of shows that incorporate sounds from all around the world.
