The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Employment and Social Development and Chris Alexander, Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister, will make an important announcement on reforms to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
A lock-up, including a technical briefing by senior government officials, will precede the announcement.

Journalists must respect the terms of a lock-up undertaking until Ministers Kenney and Alexander begin to speak at the news conference shortly after 1:30 p.m. Journalists will not be allowed to leave the embargoed technical briefing prior to 1:30 p.m.

Lock-up information: Journalists wishing to attend the lock-up will be required to sign an undertaking.
