June 19, 2014 –The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada, Chris Alexander, on behalf of the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will announce the allocation of funding to protect the rights and well-being of refugees and other displaced persons worldwide
The announcement will be made as part of World Refugee Day, at an event organized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, one of Canada’s longstanding partners, and by the Refugee Network of Ottawa.
