Continued federal support for the Haïti en Fête festival

The Government of Canada is announcing an investment of $11,200 under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 8th Haïti en Fête festival. This funding will allow festival organizers Kombite Outaouais to present local artists in a variety of music and dance performances with a focus on Haitian culture during the three-day event.
Royal Galipeau, Member of Parliament (Ottawa–Orléans), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
