June 13, 2014 – Haliburton, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage
Barry Devolin, Member of Parliament (Haliburton–Kawartha Lakes–Brock), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $6,500 in funding for Razzamataz Kids’ Shows! (RKS).
The Government of Canada is providing this funding through the Canada Arts Presentations Fund to support the RKS annual series of performances for children in Haliburton, which include music, theatre, dance, and puppetry.

- Razzamataz Kids’ Shows! is a volunteer organization that presents an annual series of interactive shows that target children aged 2 to 12.
- The shows are held at the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion in Haliburton.
- RKS also offers artist-led workshops for children aged 9 to 12 in partnership with local dance schools.
