GATINEAU, Quebec, July 18, 2014 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25, 2014. These reductions will affect the Gatineau- and Ottawa-bound lanes between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Traffic will be permitted in both directions. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
The west and east sidewalks may be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be re-routed to the opposite sidewalk, depending on the required closure.
These lane reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
