On July 18, 2014, Peter Joseph Charlebois, an inmate at Collins Bay Institution died at the institution.
At the time of his death, Mr. Charlebois, 64 years old, had been serving a life sentence of attempted murder and possession of stolen property obtained by crime since November 1,1985.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
