Memorial University of Newfoundland will undertake a project to establish a Petro and Physical Imaging Laboratory to Support Energy Development involving the use of CT imaging to better study oil recovery at the laboratory scale, which will lead to improved oil recovery from east coast reservoirs.

BGI (British Group Interactive) – formerly British Confectionery Company (St. John’s)
This BGI project will focus on the research and development of production machinery and control software to increase production capacity while maintaining stringent security and integrity checks required to produce industry leading, intelligent pull-tab gaming tickets and related services for the lottery and charitable gaming market across North America and abroad.

Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. (Grand Bank)
Dynamic Air Shelters, which manufactures air inflatable shelters, will develop wide-span air-inflated fabric structures up to 100 metres wide that will be rapidly deployable, able to resist blasts and tolerate extreme temperatures.
